Week 12 update (Sept 6 - 13, 2009)


How far along? 12 weeks! Nearly done with the first trimester, woohoo! =)
Total weight gain/loss: I'm positive I gained more than a kilo. Why? Coz my afternoon snacks this week consisted of rice and viand!! o_O It's like I'm having 4 full meals / day *sigh*
Maternity clothes? Not yet but I've been wearing dresses as my shorts and pants are really tight!
Stretch marks? Nothing so far..
Sleep: Still sleeping a lot..
Best moment this week: CRABS during the weekend!! ^_^ My parents arrived last Sat (Sept 12) and my Dad came with us to Panabo (hubby's hometown). He bought some crabs and left some in the in-laws' house for us to consume. Nomnomnom! =)
Movement: None.
Food cravings: Seafoods! What else??
Gender: Boy or girl, so long as it's healthy!
Labor Signs: None.
Belly Button in or out? Still in!
What I miss: My high energy levels! But I feel it's coming back now.. Woohoo!
What I am looking forward to: Second trimester! A few days more.. =)
Weekly Wisdom: Stay away from rice!! Or low fiber grains -- lotsa carbs (equals weight gain) and does not help with your bowel movement -_-
Milestones: Told hubby's family about our pregnancy! =) They were very surprised but excited at the prospect of having their first grandkid. My MIL immediately launched into stuff I should and shouldn't do while pregnant, etc, etc. It was all good though =)
